DATA COLLECTION
Fieldwork quality starts with team selection, clear protocols and practical training. We assign interviewers and supervisors according to the study’s methodological, language and operational requirements, with expectations agreed before deployment.
For culturally specific or sensitive assignments, we consider local knowledge, participant comfort and the skills needed to conduct respectful, effective interviews.
Oversight connects project delivery, field operations and quality assurance through the following roles:
- The Project Executive or Project Manager
- The Field Coordinator or Operations Manager
- The Quality Assurance Lead
- Study-specific training materials explain the objectives, sampling approach, questionnaire and quality procedures.
- Following approval of the research tools, teams receive a structured briefing before data collection begins.
- Training covers respondent eligibility, consent, sampling, interview techniques, questionnaire administration and the handling of queries.
- Mock interviews and local briefings help teams apply the procedures consistently across study locations.
- Fieldwork begins after readiness checks. Teams monitor sample achievement, protocol adherence and data quality throughout delivery, escalating issues and documenting corrective action where required.
